Also I'm working on two side cosplays, (it may multiply later on) and its basically just me picking a character design i really like and using whatever fabric i have leftover from other cosplays.
Right now I'm working on a Fem! Kuroo(from haikyuu!!) since i still have a good amount of fabric leftover from kenma to probably make 2 more uniforms U wU

My hands are now burned

I thought my monday was pretty productive especially since i was still in pain and just wanted to lay down and sleep for the rest of the day.

but instead i decided that i needed to make that damn couch for my bjds

Nagi no Asukara ~ Final Feels and Thoughts

If you didn't know Nagi no Asukara is an anime that follows around 5 kids through the struggle of raging pheromones. You wouldn't expect that much given how cutesy it looks, but never be fooled by cute kids in seifuku, I've definitely learn my lesson after "shin sekai yori".

While i do admit NagiAsu is sad it wasn't sad enough to make me cry

Before i saw the last episode this morning someone a lot of people had said they cried so I immediately thought 'Well fuck, it's going to be "Hotarubi no mori e" all over again' 

I can honestly say that the last episode was kind of a let down for me and though i didn't exactly like the end I'm sad that the anime itself is over.

Ive grown really attached to the main characters and my opinion on the show has changed since the anime first aired. I originally thought NagiAsu would be another Anohana for me, but with the continuing cliffhangers in each episode it grabbed my attention and i grew to enjoys watching the love decagon.

[thats a shape by the way, i don't know it wasn't a fucking love triangle]

Speaking of the love decagon thats what probably annoyed me the most about the show, then they bring in 2 more characters (or give them more of a chance per say) into the mix after the 5 year arch to even it out only slightly.

Like my ships have been all fulfilled and I'm ok with who ends up with who.

[im still pissed that chisaki and Tsumugu didn't kiss, dis some bs]

But even through all my shipping complaints i still really enjoyed the show, it was supes adorable and i guess if i learned anything from the show i guess it would be that change isn't bad and loving someone is okay.

Anyway those are my anime feels now i must go and finish 20 other animes that i put off for the newer ones ;3c

MatchWigs Review

[There was also a teal wig but it was out of stock]

Customer service emailed me immediately to tell me the teal wig was out of stock and promptly gave me a refund for that wig  [Which i love how fast CS responds even with the major time difference]

My order was shipped on 1/16/2014, so 3 days processing my order not bad.

And it arrived at my doorstep on 2/8/2014 [Technically it was the 7th but i missed the mailman]

I don't particularly have good photos of the wigs since review was very last minute but in my opinion the wigs are of excellent quality [I like calling Matchwigs the cheaper Arda-wigs]

i hang my wigs from the wall don't judge me :p

Also the black wig has been used for a very windy photoshoot so it is tangled right now since i have't brushed it

Both wigs have soft wig fibers and untangle easily

Overall i am very happy with Matchwigs' quality and service 

Especially since this is my third purchase from them

My only beef with them is how the site will never say if a wig is sold out or on preorder

It's been a while since i actually posted here

Defeated both Pokemon X and Y and successfully got Sylveon in both games

I'm updating my Cosplay list and preparing it for 2014

Now since New York Comic Con was my last con for 2013

i have a huge gap between now and june, which is when my next con is.

Engtaobao Wig Review

AHA MY INTERNET IS BACK AND I CAN FINALLY POST THIS REVIEW AHHHHHHHAHA~


yeah okay.

ANYWAY, I recently got my wig for my Nanami Chiaki cosplay and i'm pretty hype since it was my first time ordering from engtaobao and let me tell, I. Was. Terrified.

But after the many days of being paranoid i had a splendid experience and the item actually arrived very quickly.

First off, I've honestly never received a wig in a wrapped box, I thought it was pretty fancy compared to other wigs that i have purchased (and probably paid more for) in the past.

 And what was even more fancy was that it came with that round wig thing [?] that kept the wig in place...Honestly if shipping these wigs in wasn't so damn expensive i would stop buying on ebay completely.

I also recently went out with this wig on to give it a test run and to cut the bangs

So that was a thing.

All together the wig was a cheap price [$15 doe talk about saving da moneys] and shipping costs weren't horribly expensive like i had expected [like $13]. For a whopping $28 total for this very character specific wig. 

Edit: I have found the wig after alot of scrolling through the dangan ronpa cosplay tag looking for the specific store. Nanami Wig can be found right here.

Will i purchase with engtaobao again? HELL YEAH, and maybe even from the same store that i purchased the wig from just in bulk next time c; .

Mastermind! AU Chihiro progress

Spent my weekend sewing with motherkin, to work on some cosplays for a mini-con this summer

If you have played/ read the walkthrough of dangan ronpa and are a regular on tumblr than the Mastermind AU shouldn't be new to you.
It's an interesting take on the characters of Dangan Ronpa and after scrolling though the AU's tag i chose penccils' Mastermind Chihiro design.

Saturday afternoon was when we started on the jacket and since we were basing it off of one picture, we kinda had to trust our Spanish instincts.

After trying to get the collar as accurate as possible, the next morning i ended up purchasing a pointed collar pattern off of etsy.

Winging it gets hard sometimes...

Next we started my favorite and surprisingly most frustrating part...

THE BLOOMERS

Let me tell you i love these things already 

after finally agreeing on a way to draw the pattern these babies were born

Even though i look like i have a butt i'm very happy with how its turning out

The extra fabric that had been building up in my room is being put to good use.

I'm very excited to work on props and accessories next
